Job Description:
We are currently looking for Senior and Junior Level Production Programmers.
Individual responsibilities within a team setting: work with databases to manipulate data, image files, create load files and interface with existing systems for the purpose of delivering finished set of data to clients. Knowledge of Access VBA is required. SQL Server experience and knowledge of XML a strong plus and all aspects of Windows operations is a must. Having experience with Litigation Support applications is preferred, but comparable environments will suffice.
• Database Manipulation. Should be well versed in DB production
• Work with Litigation Support Project Managers to prepare and deliver client data.
• Interface with Managers, Information Technology, Client Services and Corporate development to troubleshoot system problems and come up with workarounds or ad hoc solutions.
• Quick turnarounds and high pressure situations relating to client deliverables for litigation production
• Expectation to exceed client needs by working until job is complete. Interface with Project Managers and provide status reports.

Requirements:
- The ability to work non-standard work hours, including working from home.
- Any of the Litigation Specific Applications (preferred, but comparable environments will suffice): Ipro, Clearwell, Law, Concordance, Concordance Programming Language, Summation, JFS Litigators Notebook.
- Access VBA: Complete Understanding of Access Development environment. Being Able to create Access modules to manipulate data from various locations.
- Other programming languages Visual Basic, C++, C# a strong plus.
- High Level Windows Operations: File systems, networking, data structures, and different file types. Importing, exporting data, image files. Preparing, renaming and transferring files.
- MS Office Applications: Ability to develop add ins or macros; but an understanding of how MS Office applications function, save files and metadata and MS Office object model would be enough.
- MS Exchange/Outlook: Understanding PSTs, how they work and behave. Lotus Notes and Groupwise experience is a plus.
- Knowledge and experience with SQL Server and XML is helpful.
- Understanding of Image Capture: Tiff/PDF creation, modification and manipulation. Knowledge of methods used to capture images and standards in image capture would be a plus.
- Bachelor of Science / Computer Science, Information Technology or related 4 year degrees
- 2 years industry experience or 4 years minimum work experience in programming required.
