Scott C. Allen - President, Trial Consulting
Scott Allen joined DOAR in 2003 with more than twenty five years of experience in the creation and presentation of multimedia programs. As President of the Trial Consulting Practice Group, Scott is responsible for managing all aspects of the trial process, including jury and graphics consultation, witness preparation and testing, trial presentation, personnel, support and technology. Scott is also a principal Trial Consultant advising clients on the development of case themes based on visual presentation strategy with an expertise in the areas of medical patent, white collar criminal, environmental and labor/employment matters.
Prior to joining DOAR, Scott was co-founder of Rainmaker Productions. Beginning in 1992 Scott and Rainmaker provided support for a team of attorneys at White and Case for the Liberty Mutual v Ciba-Geigy litigation which broke new ground for the use of technology, video and animated 3-D graphics in the courtroom. This landmark case led Scott to advise leading trial attorneys at some of the most respected law firms in the country for the past 18 years. Throughout the length of his career, Scott has applied his expertise to over 350 bench and jury trials around the country.
Scott has spoken and written extensively on various trial related topics, including “The Effective use of Technology at Trial” and the “The Importance of Developing a Visual Strategy at Trial”. Scott has also enjoyed a successful career in the video and film industry, producing television commercials, documentaries and corporate video which provided him the opportunity to travel and film around the world.
