DOAR Litigation Consulting Receives Prestigious Pro Bono Award

New York, NY - DOAR Litigation Consulting President Nick Croce was honored on Monday, November 6, by The Legal Aid Society during the 2006 Pro Bono Awards and Law Firm Recognition Ceremony, for his outstanding pro bono efforts. The Pro Bono Awards are presented in recognition of the contributions of law firms, attorneys, paralegals, individuals and corporations to the cause of equal justice.
This spring, The Legal Aid Board Chairperson Patricia M. Hynes and Vice Chair Theodore A. Levine organized an advisory committee which included Croce, as well as the chief information officers from six of the Sustaining Law Firms represented on the Board of Directors. On a pro bono basis, the committee analyzed the Society’s technology systems and evaluated what a law firm of its size needed. In addition, the advisors developed an overall technology plan for the Society and brought in technology-consulting firms to give it a complete overhaul of its infrastructure.
“I am honored to have been recognized for something which I feel is truly a worthwhile cause,” Croce said. “I have made not only a personal commitment to The Legal Aid Society, but a commitment on behalf of DOAR Litigation Consulting to continue efforts to bring the latest support and technology to organizations that fight for equal justice for all.”
