DOAR CFO Geri Gregor Honored by EAC

Education & Assistance Corporation honors Gregor for her many goodwill efforts and professional accomplishments.

Woodbury, N.Y. - DOAR Litigation Consulting’s Chief Financial Officer Geri Gregor was honored at the Education & Assistance Corporation (EAC) Spring Luncheon on Thursday, March 29th, at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, N.Y.

Ms. Gregor was recognized for her participation in a number of business and community organizations including not only EAC, but the Long Island Association and the Long Island Fund for Women and Girls. She serves as a Board Member of the Long Island Business Development Council as well as the Girl Scouts of Nassau County (GSNC). She also is the Chairperson of the Fund Development Committee for GSNC and is a Junior Troop Leader in her community.

Ms. Gregor was named one of Long Island's Rising Stars under the age of 40 by the Long Island Business News in 2003. Over the last several years, she has led Team DOAR in the American Cancer Society Breast Cancer Walk held at Jones Beach. Through her leadership and dedication, DOAR's community and philanthropic efforts have multiplied along with its national expansion. Geri was recently named one of Long Island's Top 50 Most Influential Women in Business by the Long Island Business News.

Ms. Gregor’s 10-year-old daughter Chandler was also in attendance at the luncheon. Ms. Gregor is leader of Chandler’s Girl Scout troop, which helped with preparations for this event.

Deidra Parrish Williams, Manager, Community Affairs, Newsday, was also honored at the event; and Marian Conway, Senior Program Officer, The Roslyn Savings Foundation, and Dave Widmer, EAC Board Member, President & General Manager, Long Island Radio Group, were recognized as EAC’s “Unsung Heroes.” In honor of Ms. Gregor, DOAR was a sponsor of the EAC Spring Luncheon, along with presenting sponsor Bethpage Federal Credit Union, premier sponsor Roslyn Savings Bank, and many other sponsors, including JP Morgan Chase, Rivkin Radler LLP and Marcum & Kliegman LLP.
