The Civil Jury Project is led by Stephen Susman of Susman Godfrey LLP and Professors Samuel Issacharoff and Catherine Sharkey and was created to research the decreasing use of civil juries as a method for resolving disputes, to encourage public discussion on this issue, and to provide recommendations for increasing the use of civil juries nationally. The project has enlisted distinguished federal and state judges, academics, attorneys and jury consultants as advisors. It recently held its inaugural conference which can be seen in its entirety at the project’s website.
