Albert Smith is the Controller at DOAR. He oversees the firm’s accounting and financial operations, including financial reporting, internal controls, cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting.
Albert brings more than a decade of experience in accounting, financial management, operational improvement, and business strategy. Before joining DOAR, he served as Controller at Athenica Environmental Services, where he rebuilt accounting operations and reporting infrastructure, strengthened financial controls, and developed executive reporting tools to support business decision-making and profitability analysis. He has also worked as an independent financial consultant, advising organizations across multiple industries.
Albert earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Labor and Employment Relations from Rutgers University.
