Samuel H. Solomon - Founder & Chairman

Samuel H. Solomon is not only the Founder and Chairman of DOAR, but also a highly skilled legal strategist and a prominent speaker with over 25 years of experience in the legal, financial and information technology industries. Sam chairs a company whose clientele comprises nearly two-thirds of New York's most prominent law firms. In addition to his management role, Sam has always remained a hands-on consultant participating in trial and jury strategy development, electronic discovery projects, graphics conceptualization, and courtroom communications. He directly contributed to such high-stakes proceedings as the World Trade Center Insurance Litigation, the New York Times Construction Litigation and the WorldCom Underwriters Litigation, to name just a few recent engagements.

Sam's unique perspective, eclectic education and varied background make him a much-sought-after speaker and consultant. His most recent presentations have covered trial presentation strategy, courtroom communication, jury psychology, electronic evidence and discovery. He co-authored "What Juries Want to Hear II: Reverse Engineering the Verdict" in The Temple Law Review and "PowerPoint for Litigators", the seminal work on the presentation of evidence using technology, published by NITA Press. Sam also contributed to two critically acclaimed works: "Handbook on Courtroom Technology - A Lawyers Guide and A Judge's Guide" by NITA Press. Finally, he co-authored the NITA case study, "Homestead vs. Manhattan Insurance," based upon his extensive trial experience. He is an instructor in the LLM Advocacy program at Temple University Law School and teaches extensively for in-house and national CLE programs. Most recently, Sam co-founded the ALI-ABA program, Electronic Discovery and Records Management, in Chicago.

Sam has an M.B.A. with Distinction from New York University's Stern School of Business, an M.S. in Philosophy and Theological Ordination from Yeshiva University. His wife is a family physician and they have two children and five grandchildren.
