Gabriel Hayes-Williams is a Consultant at DOAR with more than a decade of experience advising clients in complex disputes, regulatory investigations, and trials. He draws on his background in litigation practice, behavioral science, and jury consulting to help trial teams anticipate juror perspectives, test case strategies, and refine courtroom narratives.
As a jury consultant, Gabriel has worked with AmLaw 100 firms and boutiques, supporting juror and judge-focused research events, and case theme testing. He has facilitated mock juror panel discussions, developed media environment surveys, and prepared both research and trial demonstratives for high-stakes matters involving white-collar prosecutions, antitrust, IP, opioid liability, and politically sensitive disputes.
Gabriel’s prior litigation practice includes firms such as Clifford Chance and Harris St. Laurent, where he represented clients in commercial disputes, securities enforcement actions, and white-collar defense. He counseled whistleblowers and senior executives in SEC investigations, cross-examined witnesses in civil fraud trials, and served as Special Litigation Counsel in bankruptcy proceedings.
With additional training in cognitive neuroscience, decision analysis, and behavioral statistics, Gabriel brings a practitioner’s perspective to jury consulting, bridging courtroom advocacy with behavioral insights to help clients navigate their most complex disputes.
Gabriel earned his J.D. from Stanford Law School and a B.A. in Politics from New York University. He is admitted to practice in New York and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
