DOAR is actively seeking a full-time Evidence Presentation Consultant in our NY office to work directly with some of the most talented consultants and reputable law firms in the country. The successful candidate will be proficient with all evidence presentation and litigation support software applications. She/he will assist attorneys and their clients during trial preparation and teach team best practices for the presentation of evidence during legal proceedings.


Primary
Responsibilities

  • Consult and advise attorneys and their clients on the most effective and persuasive way to present evidence to judges, jurors and other triers of fact
  • Work directly with attorneys and other members of legal teams to seamlessly prepare evidence for trial, arbitrations, hearings and pre-trial research events
  • Coordinate logistics with court personnel and other counsel
  • Manage equipment sourcing at legal venues through third-party vendors
  • Oversee setup of technology in courtrooms, war rooms, and research facilities
  • Develop case-specific databases to facilitate the retrieval of exhibits, video depositions, transcripts, and legal documents in preparation for trial
  • Conduct multimedia editing, transcript synchronization, and document management
  • Perform quality control checks on all client deliverables
  • Manage all technical aspects of a case during various stages of the litigation process
  • Assist with the development of analytical graphics
  • Attend continuing education programs about available and future technology

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, ability to prioritize and accomplish tasks
  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients in high-pressure situations
  • Proven ability to communicate and excel independently and in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn and sharpen technological skills in a growing company
  • Creativity and takes initiative
  • Travel is a must!

Technical Skill
Requirements

  • Expertise in Trial Presentation applications (Trial Director 360, OnCue, Sanction 3)
  • Proficiency in MS Office products
  • Knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Photoshop and other Adobe Suite products
  • Experience utilizing Litigation Support applications (TimeCoder Pro, Real Legal, LiveNote, Relativity, CaseMap, Westlaw, Lexis Nexus)
